I had a nice 914 2.0 and loved it. Like KK2002s said, it did spin out once in the curves on me. Now after owning 4 Boxsters 986/2-987 and 2014, like people say, the modern cars are much more safer and handle great. Never have or even felt like a spin out. I still could own a 914 tho, just because! Actually the 914 makes an excellent Auto-X car!

I restored a 73 2.0 litre years ago. Converted the fuel injection back to carb because of storage/raccoon issues. (what a friggin mess)

When done it was like driving a go-kart, definitely raw and you'd slide around corners because of the itty bitty tires.

Now, let's compare one with a flat 6 in her to a Boxster...discuss!

We also changed to carb setup due to a fire that burned up the FI wiring.
So the 916 would be an interesting comparison to the Boxster along with a little more rubber on the 916
