Emergency help needed

Hi,

I moved my power, heated seat all the way forward to clean carpet while out for coffee and the seat wonít move back. I canít drive it like this.

I checked the fuses and theyíre fine. Iíve been jiggling wires to no avail.

Where exactly are power seat wires?

What can I do? I donít have many tools on me on me the moment.

Any way to manually move the seat back?

Thank you, thank you,...

Junkley, I don’t have the full power seats, but this thread on renntech might help you troubleshoot.

Hope this helps and good luck!

That did help. Thank you. I fixed it. The key was understanding that the controls send a signal to the memory control first. I pulled the fuse, cleaned contacts and it works.

Thank you very much. Iíll buy you a post-covid beer.
