So I caught this guy perched on the top of my '90 944S2 cabriolet a while back.

What should I have done?

Discuss.

I have mine trained to do maintenance:
Caesar reads the manual and G-Man does the work:

Autozone is selling some 20-50 engine oil for 1.99 a qt. Was thinking of using that after I get my Walmart 4 for 199$ tires installed by some kid in high school that just started there. Any thoughts?

Just make sure you select the full contact flailing brush option to ensure full deep cleaning

Is that before or after changing the IMS bearing?

FYI: Not that I feel the need to explain myself to certain clowns, but my wife is a healthcare provider. That’s why we moved to WA (high demand).

We are literally on the front lines, defending against this, and we have “know nothing” clowns like “azlvr”, with their google medical degrees, telling us how it is.

That just makes your original statement all the more ridicules.

Yeah, I’m pissed that I can’t find any toilet paper AND that people have been stealing all the hand sanitizer, TP and exam gloves from my wife’s clinic.
Moronic idiots...

And...AND!

She STILL hasn’t received any PPE (N95 masks). We can’t even buy her any because of moronic idiots hoarding them.
I sent her to work with my P100 respirator that I use in the shop.

.

What pisses me off is those a$$-hats on Craigslist selling them. I've been flagging them, but unless other people do as well they won't get removed. I even contacted one of them and told them to donate them. They replied saying that they have donated some. Yeah, right. whatever.

My best wishes to your wife and your entire family, PW.

My best wishes to all.

Not trying to stir the pot more, but if a health care provider isn't infected with the corona virus, do the mask's actually do much good. If infected, I can see how it help's to slow the spread, but if a person isn't infected, the constant breathing thru a mask would become a Petri dish of sorts. The amount of PPE needed for just one healthcare worker to use and change to prevent any type of cross contamination is just unimaginable. I agree that hoarders are idiots, but why didn't her clinic have a large supply in stock. The school that I teach a weekend class at, keeps about a three month supply and daily they use more than most clinics do with the outbreak.

The masks are to prevent her from getting infected, not the other way around. She is in her 40's and suffers from severe asthma. And, as I said, they have been the victims of massive theft.

Exam rooms have now been stripped bare by staff because people steal anything not bolted down. The masks have been gone for some time and even clinics are having a very hard time finding them.

I saw a lot of that around Oklahoma/Arkansas. Most hospitals had kept PPE easily accessible where workers could easily grab it when needed. There was no need to keep it locked up and nobody took more than what they needed for the moment. When it became clear that most PPE came from China and that the supply would run short (before a wide outbreak in the USA was considered likely) hoarding started and the stuff that had been left unsecured disappeared quickly. I can usually get fresh gloves at a facility, but keep my mask until it is damaged, soiled, or hard to breathe through. We still have plenty in our (locked) supply, that we are are conserving.

My daughter (Nursing home LPN) was wearing scrubs and had her cloth mask when she stopped at a gas station convenience store on the way home. She was confronted and told to leave. They didn't want 'her kind' around spreading the virus.
