New Audi S6...Schweet

Gents,

Had a couple TSBs taken care of on the Box and got a chance to see the new S6. Monster of a car with 435hp...80k. Not too bad and I may catch a lot of heat for this, but I do think Audi has the nicest interiors out there (except for Aston Martin). I asked to test drive it, but no luck.

How can they say "no test drive"?

Damn, that's a ton of HP for a smallish car.

The S6 seems like the same size as an M5. I am amazed at the amount of HP available these days. I just watched a documentary on the Ferrari factory on National Geographic and they highlighted the 599GT. 612 HP in a aluminum car? Wow.

Anyone see Audi's new sports car the R8? Supposedly will have a 420 hp 4.2L V8 with an optional 520 hp 5.2L V10 that is used in the S8 and Lamborghini Gallardo.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

...And don't forget the rear-end used on the Toyota MR2.
