The OP won’t be going faster than 56 mph or so, because he’s using a U-Haul truck to tow the trailer. They have governors on them that limit their speed, plus they are very under-powered.

We have made significant moves 3 times in the past 5 years. This will be #4.
They used to have governors, but the last few I’ve driven did not. Not to mention that I see U-Haul trucks, pulling trailers, flying by me at 75 all the time.
I would also not call them “very under powered”...more like “adequate”. 
Either way, I’m in no hurry. Safety first!

My wife’s job(s)...
The first time was so she could be closer to school (went back for masters), second was first job with new degree, and the last one was for better pay.
This time it’s because we’ve wanted to move out of the Midwest for years. Now my son is 18, done with high school and he wants to go, too. 
We hope to settle in the area for some time...hope.

I know the feeling, PW. I've moved twice for my wife's jobs. The nature of my work allows me to live just about anywhere.

Same for me: I work from home and I can do that anywhere. Now that she’s put in a few years as an NP, she can pretty much have employers cater to her. This job will be at a primary care clinic, which is what she wanted from the start, but had a hard time since she didn’t have much experience as an NP (though she’s been in healthcare for 20 years).
Better pay, student loan forgiveness and scenery! We’re pretty excited!

Wow, I had no idea. That will make it a much more pleasant trip.
My experiences with U-Hauls were always with the speed being limited, and really gutless. As in semi-trucks blowing by you. In other words, miserable to drive.

Well, I started out doing 55-60 mph, but ended up doing 65-70 most of the way.
I quick installed a backup camera soo could watch the car/trailer and this worked amazingly!
It was so nice being able to watch it.
We got hit by a snow storm in Laramie, but the tape held up well.
2000 miles in 3 days...not too bad.

Yes, thank you!
2000 miles in 3 days, averaging 10 hours of driving per day...it was rough, but no problems with the vehicles or trailer.

I’m not sure if it helped (the tape), but worth a try.
The camera and monitor only set me back $18, so was easily the best investment of the trip.
The car is filthy and I’m not sure when I’ll get to wash it, but it made it safe.
