The first ones look as close to OEM as possible. But I am biased
BTW: ARE THERE ANY RHD Owners of above mentioned taillights? Fog light is on the right side for you guys, correct?
Would be interesting to know, if the modules could be swapped to run both fog lights. Factory might sell them as a service part?

My opinion...
Rather than updating the car, they all look like cheap Asian tail lights that you got off eBay.

The 718 style clear lights go well with the body style and upgrades the body style to a more modern look; I installed these and am satisfied.

All cars go through a phase where they simply look old and outdated. That is where the Boxster is today. In another 20 years, it will finally reach true classic status and then it will find its logical place in design history. In the meantime, I think that projectors in the front and 718 LED's in the rear, help keep the car from looking like just another old car.
But I get it. Maybe it's a fruitless endeavor, like someone my age wearing the latest style clothing to try to maintain their youth. In the end, it doesn't fool anyone.
As for me, I'll be rocking this outfit with my projectors and LED tail lights.

I agree to this. I’d rather stick to something close to oem, just don’t like the amber.

LED aftermarket lights...
....just don't work on many levels.
Like the others posted, just update to non-amber.
I recommend 2003-2004 headlights and turn signals and the 2004 550 SE tail lights.

I agree with Stone on this.
I'm already rocking the non-ambered, '03 headlights, and the newest oem taillights.
They look fine. But I'm about to make a more distinct "departure" fron that look.

Me too and they don't look cheap in any way. Nice upgrade.

Same to you
He did specifically ask for opinions. No need to get defensive about your purchase.

Never had these aftermarket lights on a boxster but I have had aftermarket led on other vehicles and I will not do this ever again. Aside from the fact that I think they make it look like you are trying too hard, they are poor quality and will burn out.
Just look around when driving and you will see lots of cars/trucks with these lights that have sections of leds burned out or flickering, etc. Then you get a replace the entire pair and waste you money again compared to a $2 light bulb.

I'm not, I've just held them in my hand and used them and they are surprisingly well put together. They made break tomorrow but IMO don't look cheap.

IMHO, MT, if you're going to run that first set... you should update the headlights with the same style 718 vis-a-vis. Those lights... the sidemarkers... the third brake light... license plate bulbs... would tie everything toether.
I like the look... Outlaw.
Hold onto the stock parts, though.
Cheers!
