New brake switch - PSM & ABS ON

Hello folks!

For few months i was noticing that the rear lights were not lighting immediately when i was pressing the brake pedal, and that sometimes, after hard braking the PSM and ABS Failure was coming on.

So i decided to install a new brake switch. The procedure is fairly simple and i did it all fine. Now the sensitivity of the brake lights are perfect. But now the PSM and ABS failure lights come on everytime i start the car.

If i shut the car down and restart, the come off again.

Rear lights working good. PSM and ABS work also good (even with the warning lights ON)

What did i do wrong ?

Thanks as always.

I think the issue is unrelated to brake light switch. I also changed brake light switch and I believe it’s sole purpose is to illuminate brake light. Since you were getting these lights earlier also, the problem is elsewhere.
