I've never been able to find one. Did you get your pin solder joints checked?

I have never seen one or heard of one and expect that they are proprietary design information and thus, not available outside of Porsche.

I think he was asking for the circuit board schematic, not the wiring diagram.

Yes. Hence I offered what I have "if it will be helpful" and did not state that it was a circuit board schematic. Thank you for stating that in case anyone was confused

Thanks guys...Yeah, the speedo shop that's looking at my cluster said he couldn't get one, but I thought maybe I'd get lucky on here. Evidently it's even more difficult to cross reference the parts even if he does identify the failure.

Particlewave, I checked everything from the battery to the pins on the connectors, including ground continuity, and everything was perfect. The speedo shop was able to confirm 100% that there's an issue within the cluster, as he duplicated the issue on his bench. He believes something is swapping between power and ground, causing the flashing.

78F350, thanks for the kind offer of the diagram. As mentioned, it's the diagram for the cluster IC board that I need. I guess Porsche would prefer folks to buy a new cluster at $2,600, 25% of the value of the car itself!!

Thanks everyone for the help! I'll let everyone know the outcome. Hopefully I can avoid buying a used cluster. I wonder if just the board itself is available somewhere?

Might look at these sources https://sites.google.com/site/mikefocke2/listsofsources of used parts. IIRC may will have to have it coded by a dealer who knows what they are doing but the part should get you partially working.

I'd look for woody first. Reasonable, reliable and knowledgeable.

I was thinking the same thing as it should allow you to swap clusters to ID the issue (at least isolate)..

Good luck!
