Higgbeam not working
Hello all,
Have a 99 model, and the passenger high beam does not light. New bulb, new headlight switch, original non-litronic housing. Think its time for a new housing or is there a quick fix?

You have a Higgs Beam? Some people at CERN want to talk to you.
Seriously, though...
Have you checked the fuse (A1)? Visually inspect the wiring inside the headlight for signs of broken or missing insulation and make sure the headlight main connector pins aren't bent.

Part of that limited edition God Particle Boxster run they did...
Would the fuse affect just one high beam? Will double check the connector pins when I get home and have daylight.

These headlights are famous for the insulation baking off of the wiring inside the headlight. I'd pop it out and have a look.
And, basic troubleshooting: swap bulbs, side for side. See if the problem moves, or stays put. It wouldn't be the first time someone bought and installed a new, BAD lamp.

So to make sure I track, you are saying the wiring in the headlight housing itself is possible burnt?
I will try swapping bulbs when I pop out the unit to check the pins.

Yes. It's a very common issue in these cars, though it seems to be less common for lights to quit working. But once the insulation is gone, as most are, it's a simple matter for a wire to short or ground.
This is an image that google found, which is very typical:

Yes.
A1 is right side high beam, A2 is left side.

To provide an update, missing fuse on A1, finding all sorts of little quirks the previous owner left me.
