In one of the threads recently, I found a european supplier, BergvillFX. Among other things they are a supplier of the Continental radios.

But what I got was a $12 USB cigarette power adapter that fits my '01 socket perfectly. Now on longer trips no more battery pack to keep Google maps up and running all day long.

I shoved one of these into the empty socket on the left side, powered from the cigarette lighter with a few inches of wire and a pair of taps. I had to do a tiny bit of filing to get it to fit, but it's not going anywhere.

I bought one of those for my daily driver, about 3 weeks ago. Good fit.

They have these at Wal Mart for a couple bucks! I have had one in my car for a long time. Works great!
