I have the red tab. I connected duracell jump box and it didn't work, it just sounded the alarm and drained my jump box https://www.duracellpower.com/products/lithium-ion-jump-starter
I need the exact location of the pull cable.

I own one of these, can I connect a speaker wire from the hot to one of the fuses?

That should work. Watch this video to see how to do it:

Screen shot of the hook up from the video (it's from the owners manual):
(sorry for the low-res)

Basically, hook your red battery clip to the red terminal in the fuse panel and clip the black battery clip to the drivers door hinge. Attach the red first, then the black. Then use the hood release switch (or the button on your keyfob) to open the hood. Disconnect the black clip first, then the red.

I did all that stuff. The horn beeps and everything, but the hood won't pop. I need to know the exact location of the pull loop.

this will work. Ground it and find a place to insert power.....

Third row down from the top and three fuses in from the right side of the fuse box is a 30 amp fuse marked 30.

study the wiring diagram and fuse box OR GO HERE FOR a video from a brit on how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0EpWBV3be4
