Central Locking

Right guys you helped me out big time with my last problem and now onto the next... Central locking stopped working put new batteries in and hey it worked for at least a couple of days now its hit and miss as to whether it will open the doors will not open trunk and frunk...the floor behind passenger seat is dry and the light on the fob seems as bright as when we changed the batteries....any ideas ?

Do the power windows, and convertible top still work? Interior lights? Do the locks operate from the control panel?

If not, check the C3 fuse for corrosion or failure.

Does the car lock/unlock when you press the button up near the radio?

Go to a shop that repairs electronics it 's probably just a bit of soldering that's needed on the contacts. If that don't work then you will probably have to buy a new key at the dealer. The dealers are not that bad here at least I get all my service done there. Good luck.

There is a button on your center stack horseshoe that has a picture of a key on it. If you push this button, it should lock the car.
