Apparently my question is still not clear, so I'll go at it a different way.
Everyone knows that the best time to work a deal is in the last couple days of the month, because the dealer is desperate to make his sales numbers. But I am not buying the car off the lot, I am ORDERING it. So my question (again) is, does the order count as a sale in THAT month (I believe it does), and is he therefore under the same pressure to deal as he would be if I were buying a car from his existing inventory?
Please, no guesses. I need a 100% certain answer, preferably from someone who has experience in new auto sales.
