Here's an interesting hybrid - Porsche 914 - Mazda Rotary Power

Hi,

Check this thing out. It's a little weird and argueably sacrilegious, but it does have some appeal - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/displaycar.php?stock=147&location=CHA

For $22.5, I'd prefer just the RX7 please.

Not bad, not bad at all ... except for the engine.

I actually think it looks better than a slant-nose 911. The slant 911s are particularly clumsy in the Cabriolet model.

I like it alot. It makes the 914 not so ugly anymore (sorry 914 fans) and puts a light, small rotary engine in an already light mid-engine chassis. I bet it's a blast.

For anyone who hasn't driven an Rx-7, you're really missing out. The rotary engine, normally aspirated or turbocharged is truely one of the worlds great sports car powerplants.

Hi,

I like the fact that apparently you can remove the Targa Top entirely and have a pure Cabriolet. And, the customizer seems to have done a nice job with the Flares and Paint. I agree with BlueMMs that the Mazda Rotary is a great engine and highly underated...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
