In my opinion, it will be better to use Bose enclosures because they have about 5L volume which outs enough for most 5"speakers. My ones are working really well in those 5liters. https://youtu.be/F-4S39lfoHg If you plan to open you're boxes, then it will be better to build new mounting panel from scratch and use 165mm speakers.
