“CDN” because I am a proud Canadian and “icecube”, because I love winter, cold, snow and ice. I take long walks in the winter with my husky, while the wifey (and Boxster) stay warm inside....! Been using this moniker for the last, oh, 17 years!

kbike is for my BMW K100RS motorcycle. I first used a version of it when I joined one of my motorcycle forums and it has stuck.

Bald Eagle was my nickname in collage for slightly obviously reasons which have become much more obvious as I grew older.

Mine is somewhat obvious as I have been brewing my own beer for 17 years. When people come to the house and see my homemade equipment on the shelves in the garage they accuse me of being a bootlegger. I don't show them my still in the barn tho...

Dad's initials plus a Zip code of a place I lived before.
I was trying to be cryptic, yet have something I could remember.

Its a lot better than when I used my initials and birthday and got hacked.

Physics, quantum physics and theory have been of great interest to me since I was about 10 years old and first learned of Davisson and Germer's double slit experiment (light behaving as both particle and wave). It's still a passion of mine.
As many know, I also like purdy lights, so I guess the name fits.
I tried a few screen names when registering, but they were not available. I tried this one and it was accepted, so I'm stuck with it.

You might appreciate this... My general premise of navigation I refer to as "Heisenberg Navigation", whereas I either know where I want to be but have no idea where I am, or I know my location but don't know where I want to go. Either way, it keeps life interesting, and perhaps the best way to spend the day in my Boxster.

Some buddies and I were tired of the poor management at our work place ( government contractor). It just so happened the for the next contract award they government was forcing part of the contract to go to a smaller company.

I gathered 15 or so people to start a company to bid for the small piece of the pie. As a joke we took the current company name Tracor and just reversed it. Everything was progressing until it was time for the rubber to meet the road. The company caught wind and started asking people to sign commitment letters.

Most people don't want to be there own boss. Field Engineer 2 working for Rocart will always been a missed opportunity.

It's been a REALLY LONG TIME since I've studied this stuff, but...that's what was, at one time anyway, referred to as the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, right?? Me and physics go WAY back

I developed a reputation at the racetrack as the guy who could build anything with a sawzall and a die grinder.... and I always had them with me, as well as a wire feed welder and many other tools that we'd use to get somebody up and running again, so I didn't have to race just myself, hahaha.

One day a guy says to me "you're like Dan Dan the Maytag Man" ..... my first name is Dan: Maytag stuck like glue.
