Every really wonder how fast...

F1 cars really are? I love F1 racing, but it really hard to put into context how fast the cars are going if you have never seen a race. This video puts it into perspective.

similar video from days gone by...

Some years ago, I saw something similar...

Seems like it was a "normal" car (AMC Pacer?), a 928, and a F1 car. It was narrated by a famous driver, but his name escapes me.

Basically, it was done on an oval track, and when the normal car was about to enter the 3rd turn, the 928 was in the backstretch, the F1 car left the starting line. It ended up just like that video. Amazing.

Cool vid. I saw something the same with Michael Schumacher driving the Ferrari F1 car.
