Stant makes the most widely used unit, primarily because it has the most adaptors available. And yes, they have adaptors for both the 986 and 987, I know because I have them.

Thanks JFP. I have this one unit. The current adapter fits my 951. I'll look at their site for the adapter.

Pretty sure the Porsche adaptor is also listed as one for a VW.
