Cooling system pressure tester
 

Did a search but no result on Cooling system pressure tester kits.
Anyone here use one and if so which one did you buy? There's a lot of kits out in the market and I've bought two and both did not fit the 986 or the 987.

you can use it also to detect leaks.

Stant makes the most widely used unit, primarily because it has the most adaptors available. And yes, they have adaptors for both the 986 and 987, I know because I have them.

Thanks JFP. I have this one unit. The current adapter fits my 951. I'll look at their site for the adapter.

This might be the one to get. I think I need to do a water pump job shortly. I smell coolant periodically in the car so I think it's the water pump. This is why I need pressure tester because I don't see any leaks on the floor.

Pretty sure the Porsche adaptor is also listed as one for a VW.
