996-613-980-06-A05 <-- Is that switch only available in the U.S.?

			Hi guys,
I'm about to do the OBC hack with a rocker switch.

I want to use the...

996-613-980-06-A05 *** MAT 2002- FOOTWELL LIGHTING

...since it's graphics looks most logical.

I have two questions:

1. Why is it called footwell lightning? It looks more like a garage open/close pictogram
2. Is it only available in the U.S.? I can't find it on any other webshop, and none of the US ones are shipping to Sweden
Cheers!

			Just in case ...

Many are mislead by the 101 Projects book that this mod requires removing steering wheel, etc.

In fact the lever for OBD bolts to the switch cluster and the entire switch cluster does not require replacement. So, if you can find a used switch cluster, just remove the OBD lever from it and fasten it to yours. The advantages being you have a logically marked switch plus you get all OBD functions.

I second that, the steering wheel does not need to come off in either case.

However i don't want the lever/stalk since i'm quite tall and I think they might be to close to my legs, and possibly break after some entry/exits.

I worried about that, too. At 6 ft 3 in (190.5 cm) I'm having no problem.
