356 guy, it also looks like you have those aluminum wheels that are wider and have thicker center sections than the original steel wheels. Lots of the cars in Paso Robles had those too.

They are the wider 5 or 5.5" chrome wheels (Mexican?) painted silver. The thicker ones are the Technomagesium wheels.

Thanks for the explanation - those Technomagnesium ones looked like aftermarket aluminum to my untrained eye. Any idea what the significance of the winged Mobil Oil horse is to 356's?

I think the Mobil pegasus is just a throwback to the old days. They used that logo at gas stations and I'm guessing it was on race cars. I don't know if the current techno wheels are still mag alloy or aluminum. I'm guessing the latter now.
