It would be a fitting color on a Lotus. Maybe if they added yellow stripes to the lower body with "PORSCHE" written in it, or a yellow racing stripe it would be more palatable.

1st. I love green, but that green is pretty horrible. Like someone earlier said, it has no depth.

2nd. The options are such a weird combo, that I'd be surprised if anyone bought it.

3rd. That poor dealership. I wonder if we'll ever find out who ordered that car.

Hey Chills and you were one of the guys (Grizzly the other) who I thought might like the color!

Don't worry about the Porsche Dealership...they sold this car once already...it has 4,600 miles on it! This is now a used car.

I liked the pics that were first posted, I thought the color was original and I liked the deep green. But after seeing the pics that eslai posted I changed my mind. Those pics make the color look pretty poor. "no depth" is the first thing that comes to mind.

At least it was sold. I wonder why the current owner is getting rid of it.

I don't hate the color, but it certainly wouldn't be my first choice. I love green cars, but the darker the better (my Mach 1 being the notable exception, but that was the original color )...and it has to be metallic.

Chills' car is a great green.

I kind of like the green color! It reminds me a bit of a John Deere ride on pedal tractor I had as A kid. I had a lot of fun on that thing. When I'm in my boxster I feel like a kid again.

I'll give them 30k for it, put some yellow rally stripes on it.

On Autotrader.com there is a 2006 rolex green Boxster S with every option and it's listed for $55,900. It says the original sticker was $82K and it appears to be the same package ordered in this case.

I wish I was so rich that I could order a car like this and drop it in the toilet like last night's dinner.

Yeah, I would take my green over that green any day of the week. Although i'm not hating the yellow calipers on green as much as I thought I would.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

They should have tried selling it in Augusta over the past week - just park it across from August National, and market it as...

Isn't that course in the middle of a crappy neighbohrhood?

but yeah it would have been a great idea, to raffle it off...but I think it would be worth more if it was parted out by a savvy mechanic.
