Interesting list...
I contest that the sample data used isn't entirely too accurate when compared to all the cars on the road... This sample only comes from people that have purchased this warranty from Warranty Direct. Repective years would be helpful too.
Based on number of claims... I wonder how that relates to cost per claim.
Then there's the fact that warranties are written in such a way that they are very particular about what they cover (unless it's a bumper to bumper warranty). Some cars could be more enclined to have smaller problems that are covered (more claims), where as others have catastrophic problems that aren't coverd (not claimed). Does that make the hugely problematic cars more reliable?
A Jag, some Audis, MBs, and couple of Peugeots are more reliable than a Corolla? This global perspective sure is different that what perceive.

That is all fine and the Boxster is STILL at the bottom of the list.

Ranked below a Daewoo! Ouch! I think I'll suscribe to the Daewoo enthusiast's forum. No mid-engines there unfortunatley! BTW - I still love my 986!

I love the 986 too! I would love it more if Porsche decided to make it a bit more robust!

This is silly...
This data is not scientific and more of a novelty than anything.
For example:
Here are the top Brands bought at this grocery store in beverly hills. Would that list be similar to the grocery store in Bugtussle, AL, Hope Arkansas, Hong Kong? Would that list have anything to do with the brands sold total in the US? the World? Nope. Nothing more than the novelty of saying woohoo look who is ranked here.
Not enough data to be significant in any way.

I concur. Plus it seems to eliminate trucks, trim levels (certain engines can be more reliable among individual models) and shared models (Land Cruiser=Lexus LX or Jag S-Type=Lincoln LS). Oh, along those lines and what I think also makes it the biggest pile of crap... not a single Acura?!? Must be a UK only study.
Oh yeah, and another thing... # of claims per car? Shouldn't percentages be used? I mean, if they warrantied 1 Bugatti Veyron that only had 1 problem, wouldn't that put it at the top of the list?

Mg Tf
The MG TF is number 46? These were built in the 50's...and are more reliable than a Boxster?
Hmmm...

I hadn't noticed that the MG was listed. As an MG owner, I officially declare this list null and void. In some states, using MG and reliability in the same sentence is a felony.
