Mine never worked either. I replaced the locking mechanism and it still never worked. Never got any single locking beep
I was thinking that there is a programming issue. Debugging the electrical aspect is a daunting task as there is much to remove to get back to it. I have thought of putting some electricity to the old unit to see if it works.
Any starting point to testing the circuit would be helpful.
