Couldn't wait: I had to drive it !

Today was so sunny and -25c. It has been stored for only 4 weeks but I just had to drive it. Surprisingly well behaved in the snow. Cosy and warm inside. Cool drive all around.

Make sure they are the right tires for the temperature. All too painfully I learned.

Very good point.....the right tires for these cars in the summer make terrible winter tires. Zero traction. If you had traction, then you might not have the right tires on it for summer time!

No reason not to enjoy the 986 all year round!
I was also going to mention the tires, and if you put back into storage make sure to wash the underbody to get any salt off.

I picked up a set of winter wheels this summer. What a fun car for winter driving. It even lives outside at the moment

Porsche really does make the everyday sports car.

I got to drive mine in the snow for the first time a few days ago. Really fun on new snow! However, the next day, the slush in the wheel well had slipped to the ground, and glued the car to the driveway.
