New boxster owner
Hello fellow boxster owners!
I'm new to the forum and a bit of a youngster, this is my first car.. 5 speed manual 2000 Arena Red boxster California car with 60,000 miles, heated seats, added cup holders, bonus custom car cover, and still has the wind deflector. The previous owner took wonderful care of the car and added side stripes, which I was planning to do anyway if I did find a fitting boxster. It has a aftermarket exhaust (not sure what kind if anyone here would know.) I was lucky to come upon the car during a spur of the moment morning search. I had been looking at 996s and 986s for a few months seriously and could never find one that fit me.
The boxster was introduced to me by another member of this forum, and the intrigue of them pulled me in. A Euro show later and many, many rides with him in his speed yellow 2000 boxster S, I made it a goal to at least try to get a boxster as my first car. After being introduced to the world of boxster handling and the sound of a flax six, there was no going back for me.
My parents and I just picked the car up this Monday... so the car is brand new to my family and I. I chose to name it Ruby, which I found to be very fitting. I have loved the boxster community for a while now and am super proud to be a owner.

Well I bet you'd look cute driving around in that. Whoever the dude is with the 2000 speed yellow is a lucky guy.

He sure is haha, he actually drove down to meet the seller with me, so it was a small boxster meet up when I went to test drive the car.

Thank you, I know it is a fun bragging right to say that you have a boxster, and so does your girlfriend.

So wait. Now not only does Big Jake have his cute little girlfriend that he hauls around in his yellow S car, but she's driving a Boxster too?
College ain't nothing like it used to be. I drove an orange '72 Karmann Ghia and my girlfriend had a mountain bike.

LOL My Dad had a 2-tone green Karmann Ghia and he gave me the '63 VW Squareback that he painted orange.

Great looking car! I love Arena Red over black. I also really like the stripe.
Well done.
