Port St Lucie - That's right, I remember now.

Yeah the install of the spin on adapter is really easy.

Add oil to the two O-rings - the bigger one on the outside that is obvious, and there is a smaller one on the inside at the top. that is kind of hidden

Then just thread it on, and then torque it to spec (25 Nm - 18 Ft/Lbs). I think the newer ones you can just use a big socket (26mm), the older ones like mine come with a tool that you place on the bottom and then use the socket on that.

Then just thread on the oil filter using regular spin on oil filter technique, oil the gasket, spin it on, when it gets snug go 1 additional turn etc...

When you go to change the oil once the spin on adapter is installed, you can just watch to ensure it does not spin loose with the filter. Mine has never moved after several oil changes.
