As for 718 sales, idk if their good or bad but I can Guarantee you Porsche has been planning on giving this car a major marketing push from the start in preparation of 4 cylinder backlash. They new the styling had to be almost perfect, the marketing material strong, and that maybe a Le Mans victory with a 4 cylinder in the past year would help as well. All of this was prepared well ahead of sales figures and it's simply the company giving an extra push where it's expected to be valuable.

I moved to the US almost 9 years ago.
This is the first time I see a Porsche commercial on TV.
Porsche a definetly being aggressive with this one.
