2000 Boxster lights

I need new lights. Mine have big burn marks.

I don't want to drop a lot of money on them.

I have spent a lot of money on the engine this year and would like to upgrade to LED if possible. Or even stock aftermarket if the price is right.

I have seen bad reviews on LED units not working properly.

Thanks guys.

Recommend Litronics (Xenon) for 986 Boxster

The least expensive Litronics in good condition that I've seen on ebay...

Genuine Pair of Porsche 996 Boxster 986 Litronic Headlights Xenon RHD Clear | eBay

How did your originals burn?

Good Luck!

How did they burn? I thought this was a common issue?

I bought the car with them burnt.

I am thinking about trying to remove the part that burns and retain these originals.

Is this possible?

Only issue with that set is they are for a Right drive vehicle. Dispersion pattern will be all wrong for a left drive car.

Fuzzuki, I feel your pain. My original set was notably scorched on one lens. The original owner admitted to using a higher wattage bulb for more brightness.
I found a replacement set here on the forum a couple of years back. They aren't perfect, but at least way better than what I had.
When I work up the nerve, I'll split the original set and do a bixenon conversion.
