"Pics or it didn't happen" is a standard (almost universal) greeting for new folks on internet forums that specialize on a certain something, be it a car, guns, watches, airplanes, or just about anything else. It is meant as a friendly encouragement

So a new member comes in to say hello, hasn't really gotten to know the community yet and doesn't take the time to post pics with their first post. One of their first interactions with the community will be dealing with a bunch of strangers accusing them of being a liar. really fun time.

You are reading far more into this than there is. It's all in good fun and part of welcoming someone. "Picks or it didn't happen" is an expression, not an attack. No one is calling anyone a liar.

As most here are enthusiasts, we like to see other peoples cars. To my knowledge, no one has been ostracized or kicked out of the forum for not posting a pic

And in any case I did not call you a liar and you come at me???
