Aircon Recharge, summer is coming.

My system still blows cold the same it has been the last 2/3 years I think, but my car is not driven daily. Sometimes it sits around for month due to my work travel.

I feel like maybe if I recharge, the aircon will be cold like a Japanese car??
Or is the aircon really not that cold even working correctly? :/

I have a Citroen, even when I had a new aircon, it still was no where as cold as my 2005 Prius with 170k miles.
