Liptronic light issues

did a search and could not come up with anything.

My liptronic lights are not coming on all the time. Sometimes I have to turn the light switch on and off a bunch of times or even restart the car. Sometimes they will flicker bit then go out. If they do not come on the passenger side one will flicker faintly sometimes. When they do come on it takes a 15 to 30 seconds for them to come up to full brightness. It has always taken a few seconds for them to come up to 100% but lately it seems like it;s been quite a bit more. Any ideas?

Try searching again using the correct term...Litronic, not liptronic

You need a new headlight switch. If you had done a search, you would know this.

Yeah I had exactly that same issue when I first got my litronics, a new headlamp switch resolved it. I also got new bulbs which increased the brightness as well over the original 10+ year old bulbs.

The switches are expensive. I've bought one used that was fine for a couple of years. When it started to act sketchy, I pulled it apart, cleaned all the contacts and reassembled. Been about 5 months since putting it back together and it works fine so far.
