"fill up to until it's going to pour back out" is for the 6-speed gearbox. As he has solid rotors I think he likely has a base model with the 5-speed, which you fill to 11mm below the fill hole.

The usual recommendation is to use a bent paperclip to check the level, but I couldn't see the fresh oil on the paperclip, so I used an old feeler gauge bent at 90 deg with a line scribed at the point of correct level. Much easier to read.
