Anybody know what this is????

I was having a little more work done on my exhaust this morning (Circuit Werks C-Pipes), and, while it was up in the air I noticed this "thing" just hanging down any idea what it may be, and, why it has a non oem clamp on it:

and it is connected to this hose that runs up into the shell:



My first thought is it is a drain hose, but, should it just be dangling there looking all out of place????

I don't know what it is but I'm guessing a vacumm hose for the auto transmission?

I would definately figure that one out as you don't want dirt being sucked in from the opening that it left.

Surprised that you are not noticing any issues.

Is AC working OK, perhaps related to that system?

I'm sure someone else who can positively identify this connector will chime in eventually.
