You should definitely go look and drive this car. Look at may if possible.

That a 96,000 mile car so not nearly worn out. Service records would be a real help, but most dealers do not have them. The interior look good with a few upgrades.

Find your own shop for a PPI NOT his buddies place or anyone he recommends. You need to have it looked at by a competent and independent tech.

At this mileage you could be looking at:

Clutch, IMS, Water Pump, Coolant Tank, etc... If they did the rear main seal, then maybe they did a clutch and IMS too. They are all part of the same area and should have been done if they were in there.
