3rd all the way!!! I found this to be the same on my friend's 89' 911. 3rd was my favorite.

I vote for 2nd... in my S it pushes you into the seat quite nicely.

Second is nice and it does put you in the seat. But I love the pull of 3rd.

3rd gear is great if there is an opportunity to use all of it, but most of my cornering fun is in 2nd gear.
