When I bought my 08 Boxster S LE brand new, I knew I didn't want to track it so I started saving for a 2nd Porsche. 3 yrs later I bought my Carmon Red (burgundy) 07 CS. It was a good car but didn't have the options of my LE, so I bought my 08 CSS and sold my 07 CS. The CS and now CSS are also my all season cars.

I love my current inventory and have no plans to update / change it. One of the salesmen at the local P-Car store covets my CSS and has made me some tempting offers on 911s and 981 GTSs. I'm happy with what I have and they're both paid for (LE paid off in 2012, CSS paid off last yr).

My Boxster is an 04, so no eggs. In any case, I like both the 986 and 996 headlights. I think they look better than round ones

I have all season tires on our Targa, it came with them we we bought it last year and when they need to be replaced, I will probably keep all season tires on it as it does not get tracked or AX

And yes, it does get below 55 here in the winter. On the cars that are outside, we get ice on the windows and sometimes get ice on the walkway to the house. It does get down a few days each winter to a frigid 30 or so

My first Porsche was a '86 911 Carrera I purchased used in '87, sold it a few years ago and have been kicking myself ever since. Since my wife and I are motorcycling less, I decided it was time to get a convertible sports car, chose a nice '04 Boxster S Spyder. Soon thereafter found a '04 911. About a year later found a '06 Cayman S. I think I've got a Porsche Problem, especially if they are GT Silver Metallic. I've been sending the current owner of my old '86 a card once a year expressing my desire to buy it back. That should do it......

I have a 2001 Boxster S, A 2007 Cayman S and just bought my first 911, a 2007 C4S. Ironically I think for sheer joy of driving the Boxster wins. The Cayman is the best handling car I have ever driven and is the choice for track or serious canyon blasting. Still getting used to the 911 but the sweetest part is that 355 HP 3.8L engine! Driving it hard in the twisties is nothing short of frightening though. Back end breaks loose without warning.

Strikes me as a perfect combo, Boxster and Macan. For better or worse, the driving pleasure and comfort of the Boxster made me seriously consider a Macan, and I am now waiting for confirmation for a factory delivery next year. I guess this qualifies me as a developing Porsche addiction.

I owned an '88 944S 16v in past.

My next Porsche will be a 981 Cayman S or GTS (depending on how long I wait).

The 986 isn't my year round daily; I think the 981S might be thanks to the hardtop.

We fortunately have 4, yes 4 Porsches. From old to newest; 1966 a 912 in superb condition with 42k miles, 1976 - 911 that is my daughters project to be back dated and hot rod 3.4 in the back. Allie is currently building the engine. She drives a 944 every day and we just picked up a very scruffy 2000 Boxster to retire the 944 as a DD and for her to move to the Box as her DD.

Wife bought a 99 Boxster - She loved it but felt bad when she went someplace and could only take one family member with her.... So she gave me the Boxster - I gave her my old Avalanche and she traded it in on a Jeep Wrangle - The Wrangle is great but after bumpers winch and lift kit - Kinda became a fuel pig - She picked up a little 1990 Miata for commuting - but just not happy with it... So....... We are now rebuilding and 85 944 - Should be done in a few weeks to a month.

- Started with a slight disease now a full blown fever.

I like this Fever.

Like it a lot.
