CEL blinking

Day from hell. On my way to hospital ER at 3am last night and I run over a big piece of rubber. It makes a thump sound as I pass over it. Get released from hospital (just acid reflux turns out) and this CEL starts blinking after about 10 miles but goes away. Pull off the highway not the greatest neighborhood (cops with flashing lights all about ) and plug in the OBDII. No codes.
coolant level and temp seems fine. Nothing going on underneath. Oil level seem fine.

Should I put down to the rubber bumping the exhaust/02's?

The one time my CEL blinked it was misfires due to oil ingestion. Not sure how running over rubber could cause that but thought I would share my experience.

I have had the other too, first time I was on the road in Seattle and had eaten a huge meal at cheesecake factory the night before. Around 3 am I woke up and thought I was dying and called a cab to take me to the ER. Over the next 4 years I had around a dozen more attacks and learned that drinking a teaspoon of baking soda and water would cause the attack to subside. This spring the baking soda stopped working and I had to change my whole diet and lifestyle, have lost around 15 pounds so far and feel better than ever. Getting old sux ...

Omeprazole is your friend. One a day, no issues whatsoever. Otherwise, bad.

My AR seems to only kick in at the upper limit of exertion. Like if I run up three flights of stairs or sprint up this steep hill on my bike. And it lasts only a second or two before it scared the bejesus out of me. They brought in a cardiologist who put me on the treadmill. He said I had no issue there which was a big relief. I thought my bike sprinting days were over...

The car seems to be idling like a see saw within a few ticks. Once the AC kicks in the fans its steady and a slightly higher on the tach. Come to think of it I recall a small trail of water yesterday when I first fired up the car for the day. I put it down to water in bodywork from the pressure wash the night before. At any rate the car is going in for a look at the indy tomorrow.

I had a flashing cel one time due to misfire. The cause was a variocam solenoid was unplugged.

Goodluck with all of this plap!

Best wishes for your health as well as the car. Hopefully something small since these cars do tend to be reliable when it's all said and done.
