False. You clearly haven't spent any time in the 987. It's just as sweet as the 986. Frankly, a Boxster is a Boxster - they all drive and handle amazing.

You are practicing the ultimate in Porsche snobbery.

I never said it drives bad. All things stated are purely cosmetic opinions. Same as if I think guards red is better or carrera white. It's my opinion and others have theirs. Purely cosmetic.

944 guys are poor and live in trailers.

But that's ok since they're not real Porsches.

Wait a minute... he called the 986 a slut and said the 987 was Beverly Hills chick.

Who are you hanging out with lately Giller??!!

It's good that you love the 986 since that's what you have. I sure hope we all love what we have. I used to love the 986 - untill I drove a 987. Once I bought the 987 I gave my 02S to my son and he uses it as a daily driver.

I'm sure if I buy a 981 I will likely not care for the 987 anymore.

^ too obscure for a meme: You need to A) be fluent in more than one language (eliminates 90% of the population) and B) need to have premium cable TV (may not exist in 10 years) and if you satisfy both A and B, you need to be C) a fan of a particular show about fire breathing dragons, kights, zombies and other nerdy stuff. Oh and D) you need to watch said show from the beginning to even get the joke.

^I prefer the 986, but the 987 rear end is much nicer. The front end that struck me as too Japanese looking for me has grown on me a bit. I still like the GT1 fried egg lights better, provided they have the Particle Wave/Nine8Six re-do with the black housing. Part of me thinks the 987 for the money, is going to age a lot better than a stock looking 986 with small wheels, no aero and bare bones interior. That's not how the brilliant designers intended it to look when the concept car was unveiled.
Which by the way you should see in the latest issue of Excellence Magazine. They have a fantastic two page photo of the concept car that is frame-worthy. According to the article the car was initially called the Porsche Spyder which later became the "Boxster" once the marketing guys got involved. Butzi Porsche apparently kept trying to water down the design so that it would look more like the 964/993 and not look so cutting edge in comparison.

Gt3

Definitely the nicest Boxster GT3 with orange interior lighting I have ever seen. Don't overlook the selling points that it has also been in a minor accident and had four owners. So many pluses.

I think they are really good and the show is currently diverging big time. Admittedly, the shows portray Ramsey to be a big softy.

Dang, outbid again! I don't think I can go much above the $ I'd pay for the hardtop.

Gentlemen, the end is near: About 10 hours as of this post.
