Horn Blows fuse

I recently bought a 2000 Boxster. I noticed the horn didn't work. So I checked fuse B3 and it was blown. When I replaced the fuse the horn was as if someone was holding it on, without the steering wheel being touched, until the fuse blew again. Obviously there is a horn switch in the steering wheel. Is this hard to change? Or could there be a different problem?

This is a common problem. Do a search on horn issues. It could be in the horn bracket up front, under the car. If I recall, the rubber gasket between the horn and the bracket can become worn and cause the horn to short out, and /or go off continuously. That would explain the previous owner removing the fuse. Good luck!

I was able to fix the horn issue with some o-ring's I bought at Home Depot for about $5. I found the fix on you tube.
