You're right Randall, I need to work to get this resolved. I'm leaving tomorrow evening to go on a trip (unfortunately I'm not taking the Box). When I return next week I will contact GAHH and see what they suggest. I will let you guys know the outcome.

Like Porschekid, I love the top! Even with this problem, I would MUCH rather have the glass top and not have to worry about polishing plastic or worry about the plastic window cracking. Although I seldom need it (not a daily driver), I love having the electric defrost feature.

docdyh, the threads in the loops that failed in my top didn't happen immediately. Hopefully you will not have this problem in the future. Sorry I don't have any pictures. If you lower the top about half-way, you can see the fabric loops that attach to metal tubing in the top frame. At least it is visible in my base car. It may not be visible in a S with the headliner.
