I guess, why ask why. I thought maybe because the screw type clamps hold up better to vibration and the spring clamps are isolated by the 10 or so inches of rubber hose. Or maybe different areas of assembly used different methods. Just surprised to see to different methods used to do the same thing on the same vehicle within 12" or so.

I was hoping that they were not original and pointed to the water pump being replaced.
From what I can see the water pump gasket looks uncut so that also would point to an original water pump.

Poking around while changing the engine mount...
