Secondary Air Injector Pump

Hi All

I have a whining Secondary Air Injector, and have bought the part to replace it - first step, done!

Looking at what needs to be done to replace it, it looks quite simple, apart from accessing the bolt at the bottom of the pump!

Has anyone done this before - any tips?

Mine began to whine a year back. Instead of simply replacing, you can take apart. There are (2) sealed bearings (Oh No sealed bearings) inside. They can be re-packed with grease and that stops the whine.
Removal is very straight forward. Check the the (3) mounting bolts. They are Rubber glued to threaded shafts to reduce vibration. I had one un-glue. These (3) mounting bolts should be replaced. - Part #3
