Talking New Boxster owner

I purchased a gently used '05 S in Portland, OR on Thursday. Lapis Blue exterior, Metropol Blue top, and Cocoa interior. PPI was completed on Wednesday by Matrix Integrated in Portland, they were great to work with long distance. Had a great time and a big grin driving her back down to the SF Bay Area - optional hard top and all. The hard top is off now though, going for a drive!

a 987s, I am loving mine. was hoping for a 3.4, but the 3.2 is great. from my experience with my 00 986 base, the refinement is noticeable. great ride and I hope you enjoy many miles of smiles....

I have an 05' S and could not be happier with it. For a ten year old car no rattles and everything is very tight. Will need new CV boots this year, otherwise just great,

Welcome and happy motoring

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. Yesterday was spent introducing my wife to our new car, having a great time riding around - and stopping by a place to get the bugs, rain splatter, and other road grime from the trip home removed. I will try to get some pictures today.

Pics

The pictures I took today didn't come out very well - not sure if the GoPro lens was dirty or what. Here are a couple of the better shots.

I've never seen that color combo before. Obviously a special ordered car by the original owner...

Amazing combination! I'm in love.

Thanks again for the compliments. Santa Fe - the wheels are 19" factory option.

When I 1st started looking for a boxster (about 10 weeks spent on the search), my wife asked what my color preference would be. I told her blue with a tan interior, or brown interior if it could be found but the brown interior was rare and I hadn't seen it on a blue car anywhere. I also reminded her that we were looking for a USED vehicle, not ordering something to spec to be delivered, and should be prepared to compromise somewhere. I actually had PPIs completed on 2 blue/tan interior cars, and decided to pass on both based on the results. I am very happy with the car we finally purchased.
