This is eminently doable. Forum member Nevergrowup, from Norway, accomplished this a few years ago, using the procedure illustrated in this thread:

Both his write up and the write up on the 911 page are very good/help. But these seem to be a wheel mounted option. I was look for, as it was discussed on this thread, a column mounted option =) unless I missed it, I dont think that was on reenlist or 911 or flatsix.
