Show me some pictures of your 17" rims on your car.
I am looking at getting some new rims for my 1999 2.5 and wanted to see what you guys are running. The car came equipped with 18's. Do any of the new cars Boxster/Cayman match up? The owners manual has these specs: 7" front, 8.5" rear Offset 55mm front 50mm rear.

These are those ^ wheels sizes. tell us why you are going from 18 to 17?

Yeah, that was before I had had it fixed. was rear-ended...here is what it looks like now!

These are stock 03-04 takeoffs. Reasonably light with excellent brake visibility. Also freshly cleaned

Here is my 03 S with the stock 17s
Here it is at roughly the same angle with the 18s
The 17s I had were, without a doubt, my favorite of all the 17s available from Porsche for that year.

Same wheels as mine. I just had them refurbished and they came out pristine. Will post some pics when not raining or snowing here and I can get it out and take some decent photos.

I have winter tires mounted on my stock 17" rims. But my summer tires are mounted on 17" 996 ten spokes:
