				Soft Top Care Product recommendations?

I am looking for a good product to clean, preserve, and make my top water repellant. I almost bought Surf City Garage Top End Convertible Cleaner & Protectant , but the reviews on Amazon were terrible.
If you have found a product that works well, what is it and where can I get it?
As with motor oil, I am not looking to blindly follow Porsche's recommendation, but will if you guys have good experience with it. |

I use and like RaggTopp. Works well and is easy to use. Available nearly everywhere.

I would recommend either Ragg Top or 303 Products for your top. It's a multistep process, but either will do a good job.

Ragg Topp is the only product approved by Haartz and Company to take care of their fabric tops. It is the only product they have ever tested that passed all of their strict requirements. Haartz makes 98% of the fabric tops produced in the world. Their cleaner is PH neutral which keeps the cotton stitching from disintegrating. Their top treatment forms a molecular bond on the top to help repel dirt and moisture. Once you spray it on you park it in the sun to form the bond. After that when you wet the top it repels water just like a freshly waxed paint job. The moisture never penetrates the fabric. Their vinyl top treatment is great for rubber, vinyl and plastic. It has 8 times the amount of Ultra Violet resistance of Armor All.
You can only order it on the internet.

I will mention Renovo, it is a brush on waterproofer. I prefer it because it goes on thicker than an aerosol.

+1 on Raggtopp. Have been using it for years. You can buy it here and they usually have free shipping. Get the combo pack with cleaner and conditioner.www.wolfsteins.com |

Tried 303 and RaggTop... but hands-down Renovo is the best. I've used it for years on all my convertibles, never had a single leak. Renovo also makes a dye that you can use to bring an older/faded top back to life and looking like new.

Our tops have 2 layers: an outer cloth layer and an inner rubber layer. The cloth does not need to be water proof. That said I use Raggtop.

Just buy it and put it on . It won't look much different, just a little darker. You're overthinking this!
