Where to buy the coolant tank

I need a new coolant tank and don't want to pay our overpriced dealer here in Indy. The charge $50 just for the cap to give you an idea. I found a tank at carparts.com for $68. Sounds to good to be true. Anyone have experience with them or where did you get your tank? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Pelican Parts

I've always found their prices to be fair.

I have the 2.7 but it's the same price. Carparts.com has the exact same one with the exact same verbage from the description to the replacement part number but for .$63.22 Should I give it a try or is the Oem much better?

Normally I'm in full agreement with not paying stealership prices, but in this case, where the replacement is so difficult to do, I'd recommend getting genuine OEM. Having done the job, I'd do what it takes to reduce the chances of having to do it again any time soon. Check Pelican pricing. Or Vertex.

Norm, took your advice and ordered original epuipment. Parts geek had it for $214. The aftermarket looked like a yellow tint and like you said, don't want to have to do it twice. I also looked at the reviews for carparts.com and partswarehouse.com and they we're terrible. Thanks guys.
