I really wish some of our law enforcement agencies went after these scumbags with a vengeance. Pose as a prospective buyer. I guess they have higher priorities. I hope there's a special place in Hell for these scam artists.

Chances are the majority are overseas so local authorities wouldn't be able to do anything and they're too small time for the FBI. They just want to lighten your wallet of a few hundred bucks and then move on to the next mark. They work on your greed for wanting to be the 1st to grab the unbelievable deal they're offering, so they ask you to send them a down payment in order to hold it for you. It's sort of impressive how they adapt and evolve. Too bad it's not for the betterment of mankind.

I totally agree with your last statement. Esp the ones who scam the elderly (not necessarily thru car ads). That is the lowest of low.
