Absolutely. If condition of the leather and paint is important to you, then spend accordingly. I wouldn't buy or pass on a car because the condition will be important to the next guy. I buy my cars to drive the hell out of them; daily and without mercy. A few dings, scratches, and scuffs definitely alleviates anxiety about taking them to the grocery store, parking them in the garage at work, or romping around on the track.

I totally agree. In fact, I believe that I may have employed a similar philosophy when I decided to date my current wife...
